Summer fountain pen & ink rotation!

Warning: Geekiness follows for my fountain pen loving friends (esp Kim M. Koning who was asking about good red inks a while ago)

I’m well and truly into development of my next novel, now (well, next novels actually as I’m letting two projects fight it out to see which gets my full attention) and it’s so very good to be in development/outline mode again! For me that also means that the keyboard often takes a rest and the colours come out, so I thought I’d share my Summer rotation with you (I’ve translated my handwriting below the pic). If you’d like a closer look at any of the inks below, let me know and I’ll try to get a review post up for you!

All are medium nibs (though of course nibs vary with brands)
1. Iroshizuku Yama-Budo in Waterman Hemisphere
2. Caran Dache Sunset in Caran Dache Dunas (can’t believe I forgot about this red when asked!)
3. Iroshizuku Kosu-Mosu in Monteverde Invincia
4. Visconti Sepia in Parker Sonnet (very dark brown, very sophisticated but not black…)
5. Pelikan Edelstein Mandarin in Shaeffer Agio (the opposite of sophisticated lol)
6. Diamine Jade in Waterman Hemsiphere
7. Visconti Green in Waterman Hemisphere
8. J. Herbin Vert Olive in Visconti Van Gogh (this isn’t always this pale, it’s a very dry ink in a pen that is either dry or leaving blobs on the page – I need to have it checked but I love it too much to let it out of rotation)
9. Pelikan Edelstein Topaz in W’man Hemsiphere (yes, I know, they just fit my small hands so well!)
10. J. Herbin Bleu Azur in W’man Perspective
11. Sailor Jentle Fuji-Musume (2010 Summer Reserve Edition – dreading running out!) in W’man Ici et La (the same pale purple as this ink heehee)
12. Iroshizuku Murasaki-Shikubu in the maginificent Visconti Rembrandt that has none of the issues of the Van Gogh (and is also the same dark purple as this ink – they are my favourite combo for sheer joy of pen across the page.
